A PHOTOGRAPH YOU LIKE

Imagen
This picture was taken by my friend Catalina on my birthday five years ago. In the photo you can see my brother, my friend Daniela  and a mysterious arm pushing my head against the cake. It was a surprise birthday, but not so much because I already suspected everything. That year I wasn't planning to celebrate my birthday because it was too much work and I was too stressed out with High school and others things. That's why my friends plannet that surprise to cheer me up. They all got together and decorated my house with balloons and pictures of us. One of my friends made me walk around the center of Santiago to distract me (she made a terrible work to be honest haha). When I arrived at my house it was all hugs and laughter.  I had an incredible time with them and I forgot the bad things for a while. I remember that I cried a little and I was grateful with them. I love this picture because is funny and it reminds me that my fanily and friends are wonderful and they loves me like

YOUR BUCKET LIST

I remember that I made a bucket list with my friends when I was 11 or something. We wrote our goals and many plans to do when we grew up: live together, travel the world together, create a Youtube channel, form a girlband and other things. We have achieved nothing yet. In january I create a mental list the things to do this year like go to concerts, travel, work weekends, take dance lessons and more. Fortunately, I completed some of them. I went to the concerts I always dreamed of and I've traveled a lot to visit my sister.  I'm ok with everything that I have made and enjoyed this year. But, if i have to say things that are more difficult to do, I'd say that I would love to write a song, act in a play, build my own house, meet Beyoncé, travel abroad with my entire family and be the owner of a nightclub or a coffe shop.  I think that some of the thnigs that I mentioned are impossible, and thats because the most of the list requieres a lot of money,

Tv shows and series

Imagen
I have to say that I don´t have a favorite tv shows or series. I have seen a few in Netflix and in other sites, but I still haven´t seen one that make me feel that was made for me or something. To be honest, I considere myself a terrible audience, because I get bored fast or I dont have time to watch and enjoy the series or shows. Despite this, I do have clear the types of series and tv showa that I like or that I can put in my list to watch later. The majority of the programms that I've seen were sitcom, becuse were short, funnies and don't requires serious attention. I thinks that I like them because I can be focus on another thing while I enjoy them.  About the stories, I see any kind of it. I'm indecisive and not very picky with what to see, and with the sitcoms this isn't a problem because they presents daily life situations and cotidians problems, then is easy to find a topic or theme to conect with the serie. And thats is another reason to like them . Until now I

Academic changes in 2022

This is my fourth year studying journalism and with the time I noticed a few things that I'd like to change in the study programme.   In my first year,  I didn't know about the curriculum and, for this reason, I was suprised to see the number of  theoretical subjects. I belived that journalis was better learned in a practical way, but I understood that is necessary an academic perspective to really understand the importance of communication. Nevertheless, there are so many theoretical signatures that can be better exploited. I think that if  the methodologies of learning and evaluation were changed, the subjects would be lees tedious and more attractive to students.  Another thing that I'd like to change are the electives. Sometimes the students choose a elective only to complete the credits and no for real interest. Also, many times the course quotas are insufficient to all the studentes. For this reason, the programme should add new options, more diverse and current to as

The best concert ever

The best concert ever was my firts one.  When I was 13, I went to de One Direction's concert with my friend Ninoska. We were in eighth grade and I asked my parents for a ticket as my birthday present. It took me some time, but I did it. On may 31th, 2014, I didn't go to the school and early in the morning I got in line with Ninoska and thousands of other girls in the stadium. It was too cold and it was raining a little bit, but we were so happy and really excited that we didn't care.  Although we were waiting for hours, we found ways to kill time. We slept on out seats and we ate the snacks that we hid from the guards at the entrance. Also, we talked, sang and danced with the girls who were next to us.  When the concert started, I was speechless. was like an explosion of emotions. At the beginning I was singing and the next second I was sreaming while I was jumping, crying and dancing to all the band's songs. It was great. Everytime that my friend Ninoska and I get tog

A country I would like to visit!

Imagen
One of the countries that I'd like to visit is Dominican Republic. I think that my sisters are responsables of my choice because they like caribbean music. I remember when I was a little girl every weekend they listened music like salsa, bachata, bolero and merengue by dominican musicians like Juan Luis Guerra or Alex Bueno, and they taught me how to dance. It didn't work, but I love the songs.  Later, I met Abel, my cousin's husband. He is dominican and he taught us about his country. He told us about the country's landscapes, its culture, its traditional food and its customs. Even he made us play baseball! Finally, this aroused my curiosity, I think that I'd need more than a week to do everything I want to do there. First, I'd like to visit its beautiful beaches and then its nationals parks and more places in the cities like colonial zone in Santo Domingo. But I'm more intered in learning about its culture and going to its most popular celebrations to expe
